Brian TP5

Camille and I produced the best culture class ever because it was creative, entertaining, and interactive.
We wanted the students to know about western forms of humor, and in this case, Improv. We used four games which were: the 3-headed monster, party quirks, sound effects, and the 3-line scene. Nic made the 3-headed monsta memorable because he offered random sounds (maybe some were animal sounds??) when he was supposed to use a word, preferably an English one, to keep the round going. The other two heads got comfortable with their confusion of Nic and kept going until others intervened. To sum up, improv exercises would make a great end-of-the-week exercise so students can use all of the English they know without the stress of learning new vocab or writing a comp or grammar and so on. It's relaxed, it's fun, it's free.
