Carolina TP7

Two weeks ago Jordan and I picked up Eunsung, and Kukit and met Hammad and Abdul Aziz at Lake Ella. It was a Wednesday and this meant it was the outdoor market! I took Eunsung around to all the tables and asked her if she knew the words for the vegetables I pointed at and got her to tell me, then corrected her if she got it incorrect or mispronounced. We talked about which vegetables and fruits she had back in Korea and I asked her to tell me which where her favorites and how she cooked them. This was a good practice for her in talking consistently, and she didn’t even realize it! We later went inside to practice what to say at restaurants and how to converse with the waiters and get what you want when they ask for clarification on your orders. She said she hates going out to eat because it produces so much anxiety because she doesn’t know how to respond when they ask her questions. I taught her some phrases and ways to keep her cool so that she can feel comfortable going out to eat whenever she wants to!
